• Q: Will you match a cheaper quotation?
  
• A: No! We understand there may be cheaper Mobile Disco’s or DJ’s available. Our quotation is on the services that we are offering, and not for someone else’s performance. We have high standards, reliable equipment, fully insured and have been in business for over 10 years. Professional and up to date with our Tax affairs.
• Q: Why do I have to pay a deposit?
• A: This is our way of seeing that the function is genuine, plus it ensures that the date is reserved for you, once booked we do not look for a higher price from someone else.
• Q: You appear to be cheaper that others we have contacted, why?
• A: We do not undertake price comparisons ourselves, we look at each booking on its merits. We look at our pricing and come to a fair price which we are happy with. Being Professional, we do not have any other income streams, so each date lost is a loss of earnings potential. We offer a professional and reliable service which has stood the test of time.
• Q: Will I receive a booking contract?
• A: Yes. This is sent out immediately, and we ask you to sign your copy and return it to us in a pre-paid envelope.
• Q: Can I pay by credit or debit card?
• A: Yes we have a facility to accept all major cards; this is available on-line when you make a firm booking.
• Q: Can I pay by cheque?
• A: Yes! To ensure that the date of your booking is held for you it’s best to pay the deposit by a card method. The balance can be paid by cheque, this must be received by us no later than 15days before the function.
• Q: Can I cancel my booking?
• A: Yes, however, dependant on the date of the cancellation you are likely to incur a cancellation fee. Please read the Terms and Conditions, the fees are fully explained.
• Q: How can I avoid paying any cancellation fees?
• A: We have introduced a one off Cancellation Guarantee Payment Fee system for your peace of mind. Please look at clause 7d within the Terms and Conditions where it’s fully explained.
• Q: Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
• A: Yes, We also have our equipment fully tested (PAT) copies of the certificates are available on the download page within the web site (Please see the contact area)
• Q: Is your equipment reliable?
• A: Yes, our equipment is regularly serviced, replaced when necessary, In addition we carry back up equipment. This will give you peace of mind, as too it does for us, as we are confident that our service provided will be to the highest standard.
• Q: I note that you are an Ltd Company, Why?
• A: We were formed in 2002, as a logistic company. We are registered in England; we have a number of arms to our business which includes Digital Printing, Vehicles and Entertainment (Disco Equipment Hire). Each division has its own dedicated staff. We find it useful to have in house transport, and printing capability, and plenty of disco equipment that we can call upon to do the really large events. The main benefit for being an established company is that we are legal, and reliable.
• Q: How much experience do you have?
• A: All of our DJ’s have more than 10 years of experience, which involves all aspects of the party and wedding needs. If you are booking one of the speciality Shows which requires Carl Edwardes himself, he has over 40 years experience and has done guest appearances on Radio, Large venues in the UK and Europe where crowds of 2500 + is the norm. He is in demand for his Unique Shows.
• Q: What is the fuel charge?
• A: This is a charge set for the function; unfortunately we haven’t found a garage that fills up the van with Derv for no money. Running the Van, which is needed to carry the equipment, is an expensive but necessary cost. Once the charge is applied this will not change. We show this separately so you can see that we offer a fair price.
• Q: Does the price include VAT
• A: Yes, it’s based on the standard rate of 17.5% inclusive.
• Q: I’m a VAT registered business, can you issue a VAT invoice?
• A: We supply a VAT invoice for every function we do!
• Q: Can I supply my own equipment?
• A: We are sure that your equipment meets your needs, however, we only do events with our own set up, and this ensures that we can provide our usual high standard.
• Q: I booked another DJ. But he’s informed me he‘s not going to turn up. No reason given, I’m desperate for someone to come. Can you do it for me today! and will you do it for the same money?
• A: Well if I had a £1 for every time that I have been asked this question I be a rich man. We do accept emergency bookings, sometimes we can accommodate such a request to help out. There are a number of issues that we need to identify. How far are you away from us? When does your function start? Are you able to pay for the function on line in full today? Lastly, we do not hold people to ransom, we quote our normal price based on our costing, and we don’t want to know what the other chap was charging. If you are in Kent the minimum time we need to get underway to you will be 1- 2hrs plus the set up time, so call it 3- 4hrs is the earliest we can be up and running. If your function is underway already and has less than 4hrs before you have to run before you need to vacate, being realistic it might be time to tell your guest that you have no music.
• Q: I’m a club owner, and it is has its own equipment, will you use this rather than bring your own? Space is a premium.
• A: Yes, however, we shall need to make a site visit before we accept the booking?
• Q: I know someone looking for a Disco; if I introduce them to you will you give me a commission?
• A: New one on me! I’m all for private enterprise, however, we deal only with the function/party organiser.
